Mobility issues

My mobility is decreasing and has been for a long time due to my poor balance and vertigo. Being stood up is a risk to me and I have sustained many injuries from it and currently the maximum amount of time I can be upright before risk of collapsing or syncope is about 10m. This makes doing a lot of activities extremely difficult such as going to college because the only way I can get there is by foot and the walk is 30m so therefore everytime I leave the house and everytime I have to return home I'm putting myself in danger. I have recently purchased a cane for myself while waiting for medical direction to prevent further injuries as it allows me a little longer to be upright as well as a safe way down. My symptoms have been consistently getting worse since 2018 with no improvement. How long do you think it will be until I am in a wheelchair or using some other form of mobility aid? I think some sort of estimate would be nice so I can go enjoy my time left with the ability I have now and prepare some more for when that possibility becomes a reality. Also if you have any other advice feel free to throw in your 2 cents! I'm all ears :)
