Copaxone for active secondary progressive MS

Hi, my neuro believes that I am now on a path of secondary progressive. My relapse rate has increased and my ability to walk is becoming more and more restricted with high levels of pain in there too. They have started me on Copaxone and it's all being delivered today. Any hints or tips from fellow Copaxone users? I've opted for the 3x a week method of injection. Thanks.

@chloeautumnx , it's good that your Neuro wants to continue to treat your MS even though he feels you may now be Secondary Progressive MS (SPMS). The transition from Relapsing/Remitting MS is a grey area meaning different things to different Neuros. Copaxone is an entry level MS treatment, which does pose the question why Mayzent (Siponimod) wasn't considered. This was approved for active SPMS by NICE in October 2020. You might find the daily tablet more appealing than regular injections. If you do agree to persist with Copaxone, then you need to be disciplined with your injection site rotation. This will help to avoid Lipoatrophy.

Ah, thanks @Stumbler! I've no idea why. They said this or if I've getting severe decline, to try Ocrevus. We will see what happens!
