Diet change

Hi. I've recently been told by my neurologist that the disability in my left hand is now permanent nerve damage. It's partially paralysed. I just read about the cellist who was paralysed and legally blind but radically changed his lifestyle and actually managed to repair the damage done by MS. Has anyone else here suffered with partial paralysis and changed to a raw vegan diet and noticed any improvement in their paralysis?

@briddo As I understand my MS, it comes in two parts. The damage that the relapses have done to my brain and spinal cord cannot be repaired. That part is gone. That's where the DMTs come in. They will either slow down or stop the relapses, which are causing the damage to my brain/spinal cord. Then there are the symptoms, these are what the relapses leave behind. You can manage the symptoms using diet, exercise, sleep hygiene and other interventions but sadly, diets don't repair brain damage, which is what I have. There is no harm in trying, it is a well known fact that a plant based diet does help people with MS but there is no one set diet that anyone recommends. If you want more information, the MS charity websites have information and you may want to check out Dr Aaron Boster on YouTube, he offers advice about what to eat. You could also Google self management of MS.

@AndreaG Thanks. I already know all that stuff. You never heard of Bob Cafaro?
