Wow, I'm so glad I have this group to turn to, I don't feel that I always get the truth from my doctors and nurses here in Canada, so I am a little frustrated!
None of my doctors or nurses have EVER cautioned me about taking ibuprofen while on Tecfidera. I take it frequently for back and neck pain due to a car accident... should I stop?
Then again, I never knew anxiety was a side effect of Copaxone. In fact, I was told it was NOT a side effect and would NOT cause anxiety or depression.
After years of suffering and being told I had an anxiety disorder, doctors were pushing SSRI's on me. I switched to Tefidera and my anxiety is not nearly as bad.

I have been taking Tecfidera for three years, my first dose I read the fine print paper that was enclosed. At the very bottom it tells you not to take ibuprofen with it so I started taking Tylenol arthritis. When I went to see my neuro I asked him if the Tylenol was alright since I couldn't take the ibuprofen any more. He didn't know about the ibuprofen warning on the label. He said not to take it if it has a warning. I believe there was another drug listed, I just can't remember what it was. Potter
