Hello

Hi everyone. My name is Vicky. I live in York. I’m 53 years old but feel older most days. I was diagnosed with MS in January this year after 3 years of being mis diagnosed with menopause, anaemia and Long Covid. I’m having to take a break from work to get used to the new normal, but I’ll be honest I’m struggling. I started Plegridy in March and don’t like feeling rubbish 5 days every fortnight, but I darent even think about the alternative. I’m looking to share stories and info with like minded people.

Hi Victoria, a new diagnosis is hard, but after so many mis-diagnosis too. I can’t say I have experience with any medication similar, but I am UK based, and happy to talk, and answer any questions through this process.

@Victoria1971 Hi Vicky. Diagnosis is tough, so completely normal to feel like you’re struggling. There is an OMS (Overcoming MS) Circle in York if you’re interested in more local support too.
