Where to start with occupational health

Hi All 👋🏼 Just wondering where to start with OH. I work as a veterinary nurse, doing long and physically demanding shifts. I think having OH in would massively help myself, employers and colleagues only problem is it’s small independent practice with barely even someone doing HR let alone anything else so we have no OH available through work. Where do I start getting the ball rolling? NHS? Independent company? Any help greatly appreciated

My work used a third party for OH assessments, I've had two now and its great to speak to a really knowledgeable Doc. You can contact them and they can price you up for an assessment, for me its been questionnaires and then a 40 min phone call. ive found them very beneficial and OH are in your corner. they will talk through their recommendations with you and then when you agree a course to continue on they will advise your work.
