Blurred Vision

Hi all Just wanted to see how you deal with blurred vision and is there anything I can do whilst I wait on treatment to ease this? Saw my neurologist last week and he said it’s going to a board to confirm that I will go on Ocrevous , I think I’m in a relapse I had three good days but now back to walking like I’m drunk and my eyes are now blurred (that’s new never had that before - well only been having symptoms for 8 months ) , thankfully I can see but I dare not drive This thing is so shit

Hi there, he proberply wants you on ocrevus because symptoms are worsening. But your blurry vision and drunk waggling will not decrease after your treatment. Its an investement for the future. If neuro thinks you do have a relapse, he can put you on an intravenous drip, the so-called methylprednisolone pulse therapy. Or nowadays they also give them orally. More often then not, they want you to have an mri first. I had the oral course few months back (first time this way) and no mri. So it ìs done. Sadly there is nothing you can do about the eyes problem. The pred will only stop the attack, not cure the damage done. Take care of yourself, rest. But i would think neuro and/or nurse told you all this. Me, im just an experience expert! Good luck, it will get a bit more easy

If you're in a relapse, it's very likely your vision will get better, Tamsen. Probably in a few weeks though sometimes it can take months. Mine took three weeks to start to get better and six to fully resolve. No issues now. Best thing you can do is rest, and try not to stress (easier said than done, I know!)
