Okay, a few days ago I posted on here when I was struggling to make up my mind on which DMD to start. After some research, much thought and some lovely replies from you lot, I had made up my mind to go with Copaxone. Sooo, I had an appointment with my Neurologist today who said there is a clinical trial that he thinks I would be eligible for. The trial is actually for a drug to prevent one of the possible side effects of Alemtuzumab – an over or underactive thyroid (in some cases Graves Disease). BUT, essentially it’s an opportunity for me to have Alemtuzumab before it is licensed or even NICE approved. I think its all very exciting and I’m certainly interested to find out more. But really I want to know if there are any other MS Shift peeps out there that have been involved in any of the earlier or even current Alemtuzumab trials and what your experiences were. Do tell... x
