JCV news ...

So ...just found out I'm JCV positive...I'm a bit scared to be honest 😕. The value is 0.71.. I believe it low...if I read the chart correctly 😅... Did anyone on Tysabri had a low index and in time it changed in higher? After how long ?

Hi, no advice but I started on tysabri with moderate JC titre. Freaked me out at first, but then reasoned that the risk is still low, and much lower than MS progression without tysabri. It is stressful though so <hugs> to you

Hi @RoxanaM When I started Tysabri in 2015 my level was 1.22 One year later it had gone up to 1.32 But after that it started to drop, my last blood test in August 2020 my level was down to 0.55 If you are just starting out on Tysabri I wouldn't worry too much. As you will have the level checked every 6 months and will have regular MRI scans.
