Hello! Is anyone on Avonex? Did the horrible side effects eventually subside after taking the injection for a while?

Hi, I took Avonex for 24 weeks and it made me feel ill for 4 days out of 7. I gave up, although it is said that eventually the side effects can lessen. I didn’t wait. I couldn’t do it. There are some studies that suggest the efficacy of Avonex over the long term is better than the short term. I couldn’t stick it. I went back to my neurologist and he was able to offer a different drug. Good luck.
