Hey all, so I seem to be stressed all the time and frustrated, so most of the time I take it out on my husband .. I always come across annoyed and frustrated when I’m talking to my husband … this has led to me neglecting my husband emotionally.. not doing it intentionally! My husband is severely sight impaired. he has ME, diabetes type 1 and he has bad mental health, he is currently going through a crisis team for his mental health..: so as u can see above I’m no support whatsoever to my husband emotionally and this has lead to him feeling unloved and lonely… when I chat to him I feel my mind is just completely empty nothing in and and nothing to say and I don’t understand what he is saying!! Help please!:( I also have a 5 year old daughter.

Hey @Rachel2022 I’m sorry your mood has been so effected! I won’t claim to know how you or your husband feel but when I’m feeling my worst, my husband is the person who ’gets it’ but I actively try and change that because he is the person closest to me. (Friends are non existent and family don’t really understand) Communicate how you’re feeling as simply as you can and encourage your husband to do the same, so you both can feel supported! It also might be best to talk to a therapist or hotline so can vent anything that might hurt his feelings or you think he won’t understand. x
