Stationary bike and clonus

We got a stationary bike (for my wife really not me) but to keep my legs moving and try and help I had a little 10min go yesterday. My left leg is quite weak and clonus is bad in certain positions and I was finding the clonus kicking off loads, anyone else persevere through this? I've got no pain just my leg having a little rave on its own 🤣

Hmm, I used to get clonus riding my bike. I found small adjustments, saddle height, angle of foot on pedals (I use clipless pedals otherwise can't keep my foot on the pedal), crank length and also wearing an afo on the bike all eventually got me to a position where riding didn't trigger clonus. Basically a lot of trial and error!

To be honest what I did and this sounds daft but I did mu own kind of physio first- I strengthened my left leg ( on my weakened side) by cranking my music up load and dancing about like a loon with my weight on the left leg did this every night for a while found it really helped then I could progress to 5 mins on the exercise bike - kinda a work up to it kinda thing stopped the left leg party as well just takes time and u finding what works for you ( also helps if your doing something silly that doesn’t feel like a chore or like ur pulling teeth 😉) chin up chick you’ll get there promise 💪👍✊🤞🍀
