Ocrevus Update

I had my first full infusion today and I had my MRI last month since starting Ocrevus 4 months after my start date. My MRI showed no new lesions. I did have some reactions today. When we started I started to feel super light headed, high, and like I was going to pass out so we paused the infusion for a few minutes. We thought it was probably the IV Benadryl, but it happened right away when we started the infusion again, they think I might just be sensitive to it, so I was given Pepcid and did fine for awhile. Then, my ears got itchy and my throat so we stopped it again and I was given more meds which immediately made the reaction go away. I was at the infusion center for a total of 8 hours this time. Feeling alright now, but I did get worse before getting better the last time and it took 2 months to recover which is actually common. I’m hoping it doesn’t happen this time. Anyways, I’m still very happy with my choice so far for anyone considering Ocrevus. It made me feel almost normal for once the last time after I recovered. I will update again after I know more about how this infusion is going to make me feel. I hope everyone is having a great day!

I'm on the same infusion I don't know what I'd do without it. It has made me feel so much better. I have not had a reaction to it like you have. I was on tysabri but it made my jcv virus go up. So they took me off of it you put me on a medicine did they give people for have transplants their body does not refuse the organ. I've been on I've been on same infusion has you for a year-and-a-half, will not change it if I have my way
