KESIMPTA 1st Dose
So I had my first dose of KESIMPTA yesterday. Injection went well so quick and easy. After effects started 4 hours or so later and were a little more troublesome I had horrendous chills that made my body convulse. Then became so hot and sweaty. Suffice to say it wasn’t a fun first night. Once I’d slept I felt fine other than a slight headache that went after taking paracetamol.
I had side effect’s after my dmt from day one too. I still get flu like symptoms now but I always take it before bed dose up with paracetamol and sleep it off too. I try to think short term pain for long term gain. Good Luck
Sage advice from Lupin. Your first dose experience is entirely normal but I’ve had absolutely zero after effects since. No illness either. Persevere, don’t worry, I’m over a year on Kesimpta and it scarcely affects my life at all.
