Meditation?

I was just wondering if anyone is trying meditation to control their ms. I went to a Deepak Chopra seminar recently in London, the theme of which was 'Spiritual Solutions'. I got the chance to speak with him very briefly and I told him that I have ms and whether or not I can heal myself, and if so, how do I go about doing it. He told me I could, and the way to do it is through meditation. We then meditated as a group and to be honest, when it's done in the correct way, and you truly give yourself to the moment, it does make a difference. Whether or not it's a "cure" is up for debate, then again I cannot think of anything more powerful than the mind. But we know that our bodies do things without our consent, and it's frustrating to not be in control over relapses and potential permanent symptoms. Meditation is worth a try, give it a go, you never know:) Stay cool and streess free MS Family. Peace

Hi I think meditation along with diet and exercise can help. If they can cure this thing I don't know. On the road with the diet, beginning exercise and certainly considering meditation. I really belive that if something ain't doing you any harm, you have to try. Best wishes Neil

Well, if you read George Jelinek, he definitely advocates it. I've been told (can't remember the context) that there is medical evidence for it as well
