Botox for spasticity

Today I had my first injected dosis of Botox to manage spasticity on my right arm and hand. It went well...no pain other than the mild sting of the needle but nothing horrible. Doctor says I should feel some difference after a few days. Has anyone used this type of treatment before?

@M_S_Positive , I've not had this personally, but it is a recognised treatment for spasticity. It does have to be repeated every six months or so. I hope it works for you. Good luck.

@M_S_Positive I have been having Botox in my leg for spasticity for over a year now. It works! Can take up to 2 weeks to take full effect & repeated every 12 weeks. That’s my experience & everyone is different in reaction so do keep the simple diary with reaction dates/ effectiveness etc as dose can be adjusted up or down as can frequency but 12 weeks apart minimum
