Unsure if I’m going Crazy!

Hi everyone, Been putting off putting anything on as don’t want to go over the same questions but I’m loosing my mind lol! So quick timeline. In 2004 aged 19 I suffered a TIA. Lost complete right side. In 2008 I suffered and diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia. In 2015 I was diagnosed with paroxysmal hemicrania. In 2019 I felt like I was having another stroke but backwards (so each day I felt progressively worse) Then this year in June I started mumblingn mixing my words followed by numbness I was saw in A&E had a CT scan which was fine. I was then referred a week later for an MRI. 2 days following that MRI I received a letter for a whole spine and head with contrast. Neuro and radiologist advised was looking for probable MS. It’s been 3 weeks and I’ve still not heard. I still have heavy legs and dead arms, a dull ache in the back of my head on left side ( I’ve put this down to tension) Severe back ache on left side that causes shooting pains and the inability to sit or stand still for prolonged periods. I had an eye examination Sunday where they found large pigments in the back of my left eye and multiple small pigments in right eye. I’m not sure if anyone on here can help with this question as they may have gone off the forum but ‘ Did anyone wait a long time for the MRI results and for it then to come back clear and it be categorically NOT ms?’ I’m keeping fingers crossed xx

@Louiseax I'm so sorry you have had so much to deal with over many years. Unfortunately it can take sometime for MRI results to come back to you. The scans and reports from the Radiologist will go to your Neurologist and they will look at them and get back to you. It is really difficult to wait for results and I know it can feel like a lifetime. Did the Radiologist say how long it would be before the report would be sent to your Neurologist? I had my latest Brain/C Spine MRI and a Lumber MRI weeks ago and was told results would be sent to my Neuro in approximately 10 days. You could try your Neurologists secretary to see if they have received your scans. I can't comment on clear MRI results as I'm not in that position . I'm being checked to see if I have any new lesions. If it is the case that your MRIs are clear press your Neurologist as to what your next steps are as you clearly have something wrong with you. Don't give up , keep strong and be your own advocate . You know your own body and deserve care and full investigations to determine a diagnosis whatever that maybe. Take care and keep in touch.
