Cladribine
Hi,
Advice needed please.Originally we were offered ocrelizumab for my 15 year old daughter.
Her ms nurse has just rang and asked us to also consider Cladribine .
Don’t know what to do as they are both good.....

Both are excellent drugs and show the neuro is taking it seriously. A great thing and rarer than you might think. I am on Oc. Prof Gavin Giovanni has written extensively on Cladribine and it is wort getting stuck into the Bart's blog. I am not a medic and it gets extremely technical and a true expert on both drugs is needed. So much now comes down to the patient. But be comforted to know they have come in with the very best. Don't let a doc/nurse get you to choose. That is bullshit. Terribly technical and they ought to advising a course of treatment as they are the expert. If they can't/won't then see someone who can and will. Best.
@dominics We are very lucky that she has an excellent neurologist who specialises in MS. She is very straight talking which I really appreciate, I’ll definitely look at Barts blog. Thank you.
