Numbness

Hi All, I was diagnosed in 2018, with RRMS , i mainly have sensory symptoms and i'm currently on steroids for a relapse, yesterday the numbness was getting worse since i stopped taking 5 day course of steroids. The numbness i had yesterday was like i'd been to the dentist but all over, is this normal and how long does this type of numbness go on for? I'm not in pain just heavily numb. Julze x
@grandma

@julze the steroids have only just started working. They will do so for the next 6-8 weeks, but things might slowly get better over the next few months. It might not all go away, that's sadly the nature of the beast, all affected by age, type of ms, DMT if that's applicable but don't try and rush things. If it takes 6 months to get over the relapse it takes 6 months, rushing it will only make things worse. I know it's easy to say, but trying to get back to 'normal' shouldn't be rushed. Eat well, loads of rest and treats and please don't think your alone, you're not, we're all here for you🥊👂😜

@Stumbler

@julze , you just had an enormous hit of steroids, so give your body a chance to get over this. @grandma , gives good advice above.
