Hopelessness, negativity, fear, and grief, which is often overwhelming. Many people with MS experience this on an ongoing basis day after day, week after week. It's important for me to be aware of when depression sneaks into my personal life. I notice it when I start to feel "stuck" in a sad, daily rut and see no way out. One way to combat this is to be always on the look-out for new techniques to examine my emotions and life and help me with activities that get me unstuck. Are you stuck in depression?
