Kesimpta

Anyone feel like some MS symptoms return a few days before getting next shot? Started Kesimpta in June and a lot of my symptoms ( spasticity, tightness, tingling, back pain, ms hug) vanished after third weekly shot. Now I’m on the monthly one and am due my second monthly shot but the tingling has started to return and weakness in my left hand. Just wondering if there is a thing where people feel a bit worse before they take their next dose? I know DMTs don’t eliminate symptoms. Not on it long enough to know how it will affect me long term but other than that finding it ok. 💪
@Gortz

so for me, as you've said some things will still bubble up, Kesimpta does not remove your MS but 'should' prevent flare ups (a flare up every 5-10 years would be considered good on K). Now that youve started treatment your MS is making itself known, new things will appear over the coming year - spasticity may well continue to take hold in new forms. What is important is feeding new symptoms back to your team so they can advise on new meds you may need boosted with. Youll get to know what is a flare up (has this new thing been affecting me for 24 hours) and what is just MS being an ass.... for me i developed spasms which i now take meds for and they have gone away all together, just another gem that MS has served me up.

Thanks so much for your reply. I will get onto the team and see if I need more steroids etc. will be interesting to see next MRI results. Hope you are doing ok. It’s not easy! This site has been great though and love the support 🙌🏼
