MS, don’t start messing with my sleep!

Today I’m watching a concert pianist play Chopin/ Liszt (bought the DVD at a library book sale) and the music is like a massage for my brain! Make time for your favorite music! Ok, my medical question: do you ever wake up and find yourself with internal tremors/quaking just for the few seconds that it takes you to sit up in the morning? Also, now I’m having burning lower legs at night —waking me up periodically. If so, do these symptoms come and go? Just wondering. Starting up on Tysabri in 2 days so I’m glad for that.

Hey criscross, very recognisable. The tremors, waking up and especially the lower legs on fire. Always late in the evening, during the night and very early in the morning. The burning stops just above the knee. I once discribed it to my neuro as " my sparkling little fireworks within ". Combined with the sensation like someone is tying a coarse old rope around legs. These ones are the worst. Started after a heavy relapse on the legs. Neuro wanted to know if it woke me up, or prevented me from falling asleep. If the second, he could subscribe an anti neuropathy pill. Pregabaline or Amitriptyline

Oops, hit send. Well, tried the first, but "in some cases could cause insomnia". Right. Guess i was a "some case" then.. Did you had a relapse before this? Or did it jyst came out of the blue? And during the day?
