Shoulder Pain?

I have had shoulder pain for over three months. It is mainly my left shoulder but I get it in my right one occasionally. The pain feels like the top of my shoulder is going to pop out of my socket and when I left my arm up or back or stretch it out, the pain is awful - almost making me cry and I have a high pain threshold. Sometimes when I am sat still, it will throb or I will have sharp pains in it. It seems to get worse as the day goes on and by bedtime, I can't take my bra or top off. I take gabapentin for pain, but it doesn't help. Paracetamol does nothing, I can't take Ibuprofen and ice packs don't help. I can't think of any way that I have hurt it but I am not ready to believe that every ache and pain now is MS so it may not be related at all. Has anyone else experienced something similar? It doesn't hurt to the same extent all of the time and the right shoulder comes and goes but has never been half as bad as the left.

I have the same. Have had xrays and physio. An orthopaedic dr (cheekily asked one to look at my xrays when in hospital) said the pain is due to MS that it's common. A hot water bottle helps and propping with a pillow at night, to support the shoulders. It's hard as it hinders my mobility as use a crutch. It's agony and it clicks loudly where the pain worsens and I think omg it's out of socket. . Nothing works for my pain either always have pain somewhere
