Ocrevus encouragement needed ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Hi everyone! So I stopped Tecfidera cold Turkey this past Monday. My neurologist said no washout period was required between coming off of Tecfidera and starting Ocrevus. Was anyone elseโ€™s anxiety through the roof after stopping Tecfidera? I had restless legs, shakes, agitation and extremely high anxiety. It leveled out the second day but it would have been nice to know it was a potential possibility. Iโ€™m nervous AF for my first Ocrevus infusion which is next Thursday. Legit feel like Iโ€™m going to throw up just thinking about it. Has it affected anyone negatively at all with side effects? If people could comment any side effects they have experienced whether minimal or severe, I would appreciate it! I am a realist and would rather prepare for the worst than hope for the best lol. I get braces on (for the second time in my life) in April due to severe TMJ (lock jaw) pain. I read that Ocrevus can cause gum pain which would really add fuel to the fire. Any information is greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป.

Hi @Chelsie please don't worry, I also went from Tec to Ocrevus, I really have no problems at all, no extra infections, and am about to have my fourth one. The last 2 times I have driven myself home, and got straight on with my life (not recommended, I have always had my hubby on standby incase I didn't feel like driving) I do get a slightly tickly throat when they do it, but they just slow it down. Take something to do though as its a bit boring ...

I started with Ocrevuc one year ago after Betaferon, Copaxone and Gilenya. Each of them caused me some kind of side effects, but since I'm on Ocrevus I don't have any. Just few weeks ago I was on MR and for the first time ever I don't have any new lesion. So, it's a big plus from me :) Don't worry, everything will be ok :)
