Covid and relapse

Hi all, I’m on day 3 of my first time having covid. It’s been rough but I’m hoping I’m starting to improve now. I noticed a small new numb patch on the back of leg yesterday which isn’t gone this morning. Has anyone had relapse or flare up brought on by covid? Really nervous that my kesimpta isn’t working now that I have a new symptom. A friend who doesn’t have MS offered that covid and lying in bed gave funny sensations in his legs anyway, so don’t know if I’m overreacting!

I don't know if this would apply since the numbness is on the back of your leg but I had burning sensation in my leg after covid and my neuro asked if I'd been coughing a lot - apparently there's a nerve in your abdomen area that can be compressed with a lot of coughing and cause sensory changes in your leg! who knew. also any virus/illness can cause little flare ups but it doesn't necessarily mean it's a relapse.

Thanks for the reply Evie. That’s interesting. Maybe something to do with the coughing! I’ll give it another while before I start to worry worry about it. I think my main worry was it was new and on my “good” leg. Still learning what’s what 😂
