Therapy/coping

Hello everyone I am new to shift so not quite sure how it works. I have RRMS since late 2021. I just had a small sensory relapse. I'm having trouble processing my thoughts around this. I am in therapy anyway but unfortunately my therapist just suggests podcasts on how to 'cure' MS or something of equal irrelevance. I am just wondering how everyone else manages. Do you do a certain kind of therapy? Talk to someone in particular? Journal? Who or what do you use to process your emotions around having MS ? Thank you for reading ❤️

I have a phycologist once a week which I’m assuming is helping me somehow. Other than that i take a ignorance is bliss approach. Also I’m 5 years since diagnoses at this stage, so the time has certainly helped. I’m at a stage of being able to push it to the side of my head.

I was curious if there are specialised therapists aswell because I don't think many people understand the disease, I saw someone recommending to look for a "chronic illness therapist" as they can be familiar with the diagnosis and have experience with helping people navigate their emotions and give them tools to help. Hope this helps a little.
