Ocrevus

Hey guys.
I hope you are all well.
My ms nurse phoned me today to tell me some good news……. I can start ocrevus in 4 weeks time. Whoop whoop.
My question is I have a 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old dog (who eats everything he is not supposed to) what advice can you give for me to protect myself after the ocrevus apart from wrapping myself in a bubble!!!!!!

I was just super tired after my first infusion. I don’t know how to describe how I felt the following days, I didn’t feel well but I’ve felt better. I was up nearly the whole night after the 1st half…I’m assuming it was the steroids you get first. 2nd half I did think I had any side effects. Just drink loads of water the day before and the day of your infusion. I don’t have any dependents so I can’t relate that way but If possible it would maybe do no harm to have someone on stand by for an extra hand. Everyone reacts differently and maybe it was the build up to the treatment is what left me so tired afterwards. Good luck, you will be grand. Stick Netflix on and your day will go in rightly x

@coralellis , just carry on and cuddle both your daughter and your dog. Just follow the general precautions re social distancing etc..

That is unless you have another condition that puts you on the extremely vulnerable list……..
