Newly diagnosed

Hi there people. I'm new here to this forum, I have rescently been diagnosed with ms. I had an mri and lumber puncture and found 5 lesions on the brain but not the spine. I also have epilepsy. I have always had headaches light headiness and feel as if I'm going to faint for many years assuming it was the epilepsy but now I'm thinking differently. I have always felt aches and pain in my joints and leg leg always dropping, now it is pins and needles in my feet! I am very worried as I work full time and whether I am going to get worse in time and keep my job Will I eventually need to go part time and I don't know if I will be eligible for pip later or whether certain individuals are. I have always ridden to work due to me being epileptic and cannot drive. Please help me. I can't stop thinking about my future.

Hey Lealand, Sorry to hear about your diagnosis and what your going through! I literally just logged on to ask a question and saw your post and can completely relate. I was diagnosed in December and had all the same feelings, it’s completely normal to be concerned about your future. Of course everyone is different with MS, but the future is looking bright. The treatment and support available now is so great and there still plenty more research being done that we should be able to lead normal lives, MS doesn’t define and doesn’t mean you need to stop working, can I ask you how you are? And we’re you diagnosed with RRMS? This network is a great support and your not alone!

I meant how old are you?*
