Feeling sorry for myself

I really really try not to complain about my limitations and instead try to focus on the many blessings I have, but….
My son just left for a beautiful hike with my sister. It used to be my very favorite thing to do. However, my left leg has a mind of its own and I can no longer walk well enough or long enough to join in. Also fatigue takes over by mid morning on some days. Very grateful my son is strong and healthy and enjoying the part of life that I want for him. Ok enough of my pity party.

@jag63 , I feel your pain. Our former selves were quite capable, weren’t they and now this. It’s frustrating.

But, consider a mobility scooter. You can get some quite rugged, go anywhere types. This would allow you to participate in these hikes too.
