Bladder problems

Hi everyone not been on for a little while, had a few things going on, was just wondering if any of you have had any issues with emptying your bladder? I’ve always managed to go to the toilet but when I stand up more wee comes out? I’ve never really had this problem before but I don’t want to blame everything on my ms, I have put on a couple of stone but Im a few days in on a healthy diet and cut out alcohol ( wine especially was my main beverage) sweets etc and hoping this will help, I know bladder control is one of the many symptoms of ms, I just didn’t think I’d need to reach for the tena pads yet at only just turned 32.

Hi this link might help you out... https://www.mstrust.org.uk/a-z/bladder-problems Hope it helps 😀

Excellent link by @highlander and it lists issues I have experienced and ones I hope I never do but am glad I am aware of. Hopefully my brain didn't read it and think it can get yet more creative on the issues it causes me ;-0 My main issue is "urgency" and then once I hustle to the bathroom "hesitancy". That is frustrating! So I kind of make a mental note of when the last time I visited the porcelain goddess and know that a real urge to go shouldn't happen for a couple hours after that. If it does arise I try to ignore it and do another task...kind of procrastinate. Sure enough, once involved in another activity the urge disappears. In this way I try to keep myself on a more regular schedule. I find that if I go during one of these "false urges" when I really shouldn't have to go is when I have the frustrating hesitancy and then before I even get to washing my hands have the intense need to go again. So I suppose that is kind of what you are describing but a bit more delayed. Good article link above. Going to read through that more carefully. I also remind myself to drink more water so my whole system works more the way it sould. I haven't found that when I have an urgent bowel message that it can or should be ignored or postponed ;-0 They frustrate me more than the bladder messages.
