Tysabri SC injections at home - anyone with experience?

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm currently on Tysabri for my MS, and I still receive it as an infusion at the treatment center. I've recently learned that Tysabri is available in a subcutaneous (SC) injection form, which can potentially be administered at home with the assistance of a nurse. I’ve heard that making the switch to home administration might be possible after completing six injections without any complications. I’m really interested in hearing from anyone who has made this transition to receiving Tysabri SC injections at home. Specifically, I’m curious about: 1) If you are receiving Tysabri SC at home, what country are you in, and how was the process arranged? 2) Did your healthcare provider coordinate everything, or did you have to request this option? 3) Have you experienced any side effects or complications after starting home administration? If so, how were they managed? I’d greatly appreciate any insights or advice from those who have gone through this. It seems like a much more convenient option if it's available. Thanks in advance for your help!

I was informed about the SubCut on wed at my tysabri infusion I have decided to have one more infusion while I think about changing, I would still have to travel to Oxford untill the nurse visiting my home can be arranged, we good to know everyone else’s options too

@Irish34

I changed to the SC injections and ended up changing back to the infusions. I felt terrible on the SC. Also I didn’t realise they allowed you to do them at home.
