Women MSers, let us know what you think! 🤔

We're partnering with @rachelhorne - prominent journalist, researcher and founder of the Rachel Horne Prize for Women's Research in MS - on a new video series about women's health and MS. Together, we want to know more about your experience of discussing women's health questions with your MS team. So our question is:

Do you feel confident talking to MS healthcare professionals about, possibly uncomfortable, women's health issues such as menstruation, contraception, sex, pregnancy and/or menopause? Whether you agree, disagree or have a lot more to say on the subject, please tell us your story in the comments below 👇

@Clary

I tried to talk to my MS nurse about menopause and the effects on the brain, and I was told to speak to my GP 🤷‍♀️. DIY healthcare in the UK 😆 . Perhaps I should have gone to medical school 😂.

I found all my symptoms have been dismissed, due to my gender age etc.. 'It must be the menopause'. Yes, of course it will be after 10 months of prostrap injections, then a hysterectomy and oophrectomy many years ago. It must be my hormones causing everything. Doctors and nurses need to learn a bit before opening their mouths, maybe read their patient's notes too
