Moving To Ireland from the US with MS

Hi all, Later this year I will be moving to Ireland from the United States. I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what to expect in terms of MS care? Any tips are welcome!

Hi @rumova hope u are all It might be worth contacting MS Ireland they will be able to put in contact with the right people The Irish system is hard to get an initial appointment but once in its a decent service What part of Ireland are moving to?

Hi, I’m in Dublin and seeing a consultant privately. Did look to go public but waiting list. Downside of going private is no access to MS nurses. Certain MS medications are covered under the Long Term Illness Scheme & High Tech Prescription. Your MS doctor has to complete a form and you then send the application to your local public health office. Happy to answer any questions you might have.
