Reaching out for Help with Skills from the MS Community

Hi, myself and my fellow counsellor friend Claire (we both have MS), have formed ‘The MS Couch’, and our aim is to provide members from the MS Community a place to be able to talk about some of the issues impacting our everyday lives. This idea is still in the early stages but together we have come up with a vision of what it could be, and are developing some exciting ideas of how we could grow it. Although we are experienced counsellors, and have a reasonable level of understanding of technology (although Claire takes full ownership of her IT knowledge being basic at best!), there are some areas that we could really do with some help in. We are therefore reaching out to the MS Community to see who may be out there who may have skills and experience in any of the following fields, and may want to give a helping hand, or be able to signpost us in the right direction; -Social media -Digital Marketing -Copywriting -Charity organisations While being realistic and fully aware that having MS has forced change on you, we firmly believe that it hasn’t erased all of your skills, and are looking for those who could spare just a little time and who may wish to re-ignite those skills? We are not looking for experts, just some knowledge in any of the above sectors will be so appreciated. We would love to hear from you and have the opportunity to chat about any ideas or skills you can offer, so please do get in touch because we welcome any help with any of the above, or any feedback or suggestions as to what you may like us to consider for the MS Couch. Additionally, if you have any questions or would like some further info about myself, Claire, or The MS Couch’s vision, please don’t hesitate to ask. Email: ****** or reply to this post. Warm regards Steve & Claire The MS Couch For reference, here are some of the videos we have created as we’re experimenting with this medium as an idea… so again feedback or opinions most welcome :) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1va3RLXIeVzXE0xTHf4dGw
@PAR55

Hi guys, I’m new to the site and have been diagnosed 7 years now. I have been studying for 3 years now and have just my level 4/5 to complete. I’m just about to retire after 30 years as a police officer, I have shown no symptoms since initial diagnosis. I am very interested in what you’re doing . I have always tried to remain positive and believe it has helped me . Always happy to lend an ear even just listen
