Thoughts on pilates / yoga ??

Hi All, hope you are having a better day today. I'm seeing a Physio at work recommended by Occupational Health. Whilst I'm very appreciative of this opportunity as its in work time, and is work funded, I can't make my mind up if this is helping me. I wondered if others do light pilates or yoga exercises, and if so do you feel they benefit the MS challenges such as aches / pains and spasticity ?
@ItsMewithMS

My last PT was primarily helping me work through issues with a hip replacement but in reality my issues are a combination of recovering from the hip replacement and MS. There are issues with myelin repair, as we know, for those of us with MS so I think this is a difficult recovery for my body which is usually so resilient. I asked this PT if I should try Yoga along with her glute strengthening and she discouraged me saying that overall my body is "too loose" and "too flexible". I guess my hip labrum was very open and this allowed my hip to rattle around too much and along with the demands I placed on it (between weight lifting in the past, years of horse riding/jumping/dressage, heavy lifting and shoveling building a house) resulted in my labrum being shredded. They tried hip arthoscopy which failed after a few months and then a complete replacement. I think my non-acknowledgement of pain or high pain tolerance also contributed and is could be either my stubborn personality or MS ;-) I am no longer working close to that PT and realize now that my symptoms are more MS driven and less hip replacement. My neuro signed a new PT order. So- with a new PT I have been encouraged to do more stretching and MS to address foot drop, spastacity and spasms. He is incorporating some Yoga and it feels good but very basic. I've ran into two cases that talked about the incorporation of Yoga. One is a great YouTube site called "Life of Seb" he is seriously into Yoga and has a lot of segments. Going through his videos goes through a lot of symptoms and approaches. He is so sweet and positive. Good to watch- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJEAgWFRLfJVtfSRzjmpN0A A couple of days ago a "Cure for MS" from India was posted by someone. I was quite harsh with them and was asking for their MRI records and Dr reports and such. I am very skeptical of these cures and "snake oil salesmen". Show me your proof and your evidence or just leave. Saying that you did something and you felt great- well super...that is called remission. If it lasts until you die you got something going on. If it has lasted for a few months just doesn't cut it for me. If it is at least 20 years or forever then I am onboard. She hasn't responded back to me and I can't find the post - so maybe there is a way that this type of thing is screened off this forum. But in fair disclosure this is the site/system/cure that she was involved with and loving it...she never said if her remission had lasted more than an hour, day, month, etc. but check it out, not sure what it can hurt unless you forgo proven treatments. Life of Seb above also talks about this approach in a recording over a year ago and, of course, he is really into Yoga. https://www.ayurmana.in/treatment/multiple-sclerosis

I appreciate your views, I get fed up with people forever telling me that they know someone with MS who runs marathons after taking such and such. I can't walk for more than 5 mins due to pain and fatigue, and I know I am still more able than many with MS. I'll look into the links you provided - thankyou. :)
