Pregnancy and MS

I've been wit my partener for nearly 10yrs now..n we have been having conversations about having a baby..I was diagnosed with RRMS 5yrs ago..I've had my moments but it's been pretty much under control for the past 2 yrs..I've been looking into pregnancy n MS..And pretty confident that I'm quite able to do it..but my partener is extremely worried...worried that I could take "a turn" once a baby arrives..I honestly don't know how to make him see n understand that a MS suffer are quite capable to carry and to take care of a baby...I was hoping someone might be able to suggest some website that could put his worrys at ease...

Hi... Slightly different turn of events but I most likely had MS when I was pregnant the first time but undiagnosed until after the birth of my first child who is now 16 months. I am due again in December so will have a newborn and a 21month old boy. Its hard, I am not going to lie but its the best thing. If your MS is under control now is probably the best time to go for it, my specialist has said that I should concentrate solely on my pregnancy and then going forward we will see what the MS will throw at me after birth. I'm fortunate that I have great pregnancies and a very supportive partner but there is never a 'right' time. Good luck :)
