Irish covid 19 vaccine roll out

Hi there, I'm just curious as to where people with MS stand in relation to the Covid 19 vaccine. The last time I checked we were in the 'high risk' category, but when I looked today it seems MS has been removed. Can anybody in Ireland shed light on this please? Thank you, Stay safe, K

Hi, I am based in Limerick. I have found the Irish vaccine roll out very confusing. My understanding is, at first we were group 7, high risk. Then group 7 (I think) was divided into high risk with issues that effect lungs/breathing and high risk that didn’t effect lungs/breathing which moved MS people to lower in Group 7. I was totally in the dark about when this meant I would be vaccinated but 2 weeks ago, I randomly got a text to go to the vaccine centre the next day. So I’m now vaccinated but I don’t know what triggered that message. Sorry I know that’s probably not helpful but the vaccine does come in Ireland to those with MS and it may be that you find out last minute, like me! :)
