@Stumbler

Kat, pre-diagnosis can be a hard time. You want answers and they won't give you them. It is frustrating as you try to imagine how life will be now. But, giving yourself a hard time isn't going to help you at all. So, put your feet up and just be kind to yourself whilst the diagnostic routine runs its course. MS is notoriously difficult to diagnose as symptoms can overlap with many other conditions from a vitamin deficiency forwards. Has MS been mentioned at all as a possibility? So, please try and calm down and we'll help you in any way we can.

@cameron

MS is not a fatal disease, it's a complete pain which you MIGHT, stress MIGHT have. But it's just as likely it's something else, as @Stumbler says. In the meantime, many of the symptoms are certainly being made worse by your stress levels. You have a little time to wait so why not see if de-stressing gives you some improvement. My physio's recipe is for as much gentle exercise as possible, eating and drinking what you fancy (chocolate, red wine, whatever, pampering for the body (e.g. a massage, hairdo, facial, jacuzzi), plus distraction for the mind - buy a nice paperback, go out with undemanding friends, see a film -anything, as long as it's unrelated to your medical situation. In the absence of immediate answers, why not give your body and mind a 7-day overhaul and just see how you go. xxx Big hugs
