Aubagio to starting Kesimpta
Is anyone here switched from Aubagio to Kesimpta and under Dr Mistry from the QE in Birmingham? I've done the washout, had my bloods done. All ok. I'm now waiting for the QE to get in touch for my consent for treatment. It's been 5 months on the 27th of this month since I took any meds for ms and my legs are in bits. Seems to taking ages to start Kesimpta. Wanted to know how long others had to wait. Getting impatient now....
Not switched but straight to Kesimpta ,ms nurse rang about a month after mri finding lesions ,mega convenient ,not sure what it’s doing as dont feel miraculously better and my legs are also far from great . Just keep on keeping on !…good luck
As I understand it, dmts are only to stop new lesions forming and slow progression. Not to make you feel better. The damage you have from lesions either on your brain or spine or both, will always cause problems unfortunately. I've been without treatment for nearly 5 months now and my worry is in that time new lesions could appear. If so, it's their fault for leaving me so long
