Neuropathic pain, does anything actually work for anyone?

Hi everyone, The pregabalin was doing nothing for me except making my bladder worse, so I have been titrating off it for the last two months after almost two years on it. I had my last dose yesterday and I'm really feeling the withdrawal today but I'm just going to have to ride this feeling out as I don't want to keep taking something which doesn't help. But that leaves me with a question, has anyone tried anything that actually does help their neuropathic pain? I'm still on duloxetine and nortriptyline, they don't seem to do anything for it either. I've tried gabapentin in the past which didn't work. Cannabis doesn't really do much either. Tens machine distracts from it but it's not always helpful and sometimes even feels worse. There's got to be something out there that I haven't tried yet.

You could see if your dr would consider changing duloxetine to venlafaxine. Also depending on where the pain is, capsaicin cream or plasters worth a try?

@TiredGirl

Im on Duloxetine which doesn't seem to help and tried Pregabalin and Amitryptiline neither of which suited me. I would love to find something that helps because neuropathy is so wearing and exaustingly vile :( Hope you can find something that works for you
