Anyone changed careers after their diagnose?

I haven’t been able to find a job in my field in years (thanks a lot pandemic/economy). Before my MS dx last month I was thinking about changing into something related to data analytics, but since my symptoms were optic I’m afraid looking at a computer for long periods of time will be very straining, even though ideally I’d love to work from home, so I don’t think I have much option when it comes to computers. Anyone changed careers after and/or because of their dx? What made you take the leap? What did you take into consideration? Any tips for choosing fields if I’m open to try out any opportunity?

I haven’t change my job after the diagnosis- I have been finishing Uni, with relapse after relapse while being diagnosed. I have started my dream career and I want to believe that my DMT-one or another, will let me enjoy it for the rest of my life!

Well, actually, now you're a Schedule A so you go right to the top of the pile of applicants in most cases (especially government work). Don't give up.
