Clear mri scan.

Could you please tell me, has anyone ever been diagnosed as having ms by the neurologist the had a clear mri scan ? Or do you know of anyone else . Frustrated that ive been offered no further investigations.

Hi there. As someone whos had RRMS for the last 7 years, it is where you have lesions that show up in a MRI scan. I would say it is very very very rare for someone to have MS with no lesions (the lesions cause the chaos for someone with ms!) If your MRI scan was to show something sinister then at that point im sure you would have been offered other investigations to get a clear diagnosis. But as it is clear you may want to discuss other options of the symptoms you are having.

Yes apparently it is rare, about 5% of people show a clear scan, but hes offered no further investigations which is frustrating.
