Heat

I use to love warm weather and enjoy been out in the sunshine however after my last relapse which lead to a diagnosis of RRMS I seem to be really struggling with heat. Today has been great weather in the UK but I have just felt so tired even had to give in to a nap mid afternoon, no motivation, very emotional and a real lack of concentration is this normal??? I've had a fan and cool drinks going all day but do any of you have any other tips for staying cool. Sorry if this has been asked before but still learning and just felt like I needed to reach out. Thanks x

Hi @WINDUSS, im in the same situation 😪..heat really puts me down. I usually get a lot of cold showers ..use cooling thermal water mist..I have a gel roller that is special for freezer..and I'm in a air cooler unit hunt😬...so ..that's that..will see how I'm gonna go through this summer 😪. Last year during first lockdown.. because of the heat and lack of activity I've ended up in a bad relapse ..that lead to my diagnosis of RRMS.

Heat wipes me out completely. I got air conditioning about 15 years ago, and I never want to live without it again. Of course it doesn't help when I have to leave the house, but it makes a world of difference when I'm at home.
