Fostering/adopting a child

My every waking thought at the moment is about whether my recent diagnosis of RRMS may impact my long held dream of one day fostering or adopting a child. Has anyone here with MS gone down this avenue to parenthood? Will my condition exclude me from being able to take on a child this way in the eyes of the authorities? Or, does it depend on each local authority? Thank you

On the contrary . Life is to be lived and kids are blessing s. Share your life and share you love . You have Ms and your not dying tomorrow! Adopt a kid and love the kid. Love heals everything and everyone

The fostering network has good information however as part of the assessment you have to have a medical and it will depend on the course of your MS. Many people are able to foster with long term health issues and disability.
