Relapse

Hi all, I’m recently diagnosed (3 week ago) and still trying to get my head around things. Today I have had some numbness in my left hand, this is a new symptom for me. Could this be the start of a relapse? If so what’s the best thing to do? Do relapse’s start of as something small then escalate? I haven’t started any medication yet, still waiting for blood tests to come back. Thanks all x
@Hila

Hey, I experience some new (or old) symptoms time to time, but most of them are temporary (tingling in my fingers for example), usually I feel these when the weather is changing (I'm sensitive to the rain especially), or if the season is changing. Last time I panicked and contacted my MS doc, she sent me to MRI, nothing has been shown on the pictures and the symptom disappeared in 1-2 months (I'm on DMT). Stress can cause these too, I assume you are quite stressed now due to the new diagnose. <3 If the sensation lasts more than 2-3 days I think it's good to contact your MS team, especially if you feel them all day long constantly, (or at least this is my tactic. ) Anyway, based on my experiences sensations and symptoms come and go in lots of the cases. Stay strong ;) Hila
