Pregabalin

Hi everyone, I’ve been taking 300mg of Pregabalin twice a day for the last week. It was originally prescribed for tremor in my right hand where I took one a day. There was no improvement so it was adjusted to twice a day. My walking has become worse since starting and my legs feel weaker. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this if you were on Pregabalin?

Hi Robbie, Pregabalin was the first pain drug I took post diagnosis. It made no difference to me and i soon moved to carbamazepine which has been a little better. I didn’t have side effects like yours but have read in many places now that Pregabalin is not a good drug. My new gp last week noticed I used to take it and just said it was lucky I came off it and it’s a nasty drug. I’m not a big worrier or conspiracy theorist and always trust people who know more than me. Just thought I’d mention it.

Hi Robbie, stay away from those, they are highly addictive and have ruined countless lives, plenty of info bout this online. All the best.
