Mood swings

Hi everyone, so this week I had a really low mood swing I have had them a lot since being on steroids but this the lowest I’ve felt for a long time. Does anyone else get these swings in mood and is there anything I can do to help/prevent them? I’m on KESIMPTA and a reducing dose of Prednisolone current on 2/3 mg alternating days will be going down to 2 mg on Monday

mood swings are part of ms sadly but the steroids are known to affect mood in a big way. ms nurse & neuro recommend low dose anti depressants to level out ms moods in general and personally I avoid steroids at all costs but it’s an individual choice- hope you feel better soon 🤞🍀💪👍

I was put on them at 60mg to start to combat my nerve damage and I’ve been reducing them every 2 weeks until I’m off them the numbness from nerve damage is still there but I’m used to it now and would rather not be on the steroids
