Methylprednisolone effects/advice please

Hi guys, I've been struggling with fatigue and dizziness over the last few weeks and last Friday I started a five day course of methylprednisolone 500mg/day. I was full of hope that it would clear my symptoms but I finished the course yesterday and am feeling no better. Can anyone tell me what their experience is of having it - does it usually have a more immediate positive effect or do people find that things tend to improve a bit after the last dose is taken? Any comments very welcome! Thanks,

@loopylu , expect to see results gradually over the next 6-8 weeks. The steroids address the inflammation that's causing the problems. With the inflammation resolved, you can then allow your body to recover. You just need to allow your body the time to recover. So, take it easy whilst your body heals.....

Hi Stumbler thank you so much for your quick response - I'm relieved that you say the results aren't to be expected immediately because I was feeling so low and that they mustn't have worked at all. At least now I can relax a bit and just drop my expectations slightly. Just got to remember not to expect too much of myself over the next couple weeks now.
