Neuropathic pain advice please

I'm looking for advice regarding neuropathic pain and various drug options. The pain in my legs is driving me crazy but I am loathe to take drugs with a myriad of side effects. Are there any reasonable options or is it trial and error?

Hey Karen. I have baclofen syrup. It is a muscle relaxant. I get shooting pain in my left calf which stops me sleeping so I just take a teaspoon then but you can take more.

Hi Karen, I think it does vary per person but I am having relief with no side effects from gabapentin. I think it did make me a little drowsy at first but then it subsided and I feel normal. With gabapentin, you can start with a small dose and work up to a dose and frequency that helps control the pain. I hope you feel better soon!
