Yeah I know, my new Neuro when I told her what the old one had called them, was baffled. Her jaw dropped.

Ive had very bad ones, my neuro told me i am dealing with chronic pains n out of all the treatments they have for MS they dont have any specific med for this. So he looked and told me to look also the Medical marijuana oil n use a drop under my tonque once a day. That stuff is high so when my pain spikes i take one of my moms hydrocodons n lay down.

You might be referring to cluster headaches / migraines  which are so very severe that they are purported to have been the reason that some people have taken their own lives.
Sumatriptan is what my Father In Law takes for these.

I see a pain management specialist, and was prescribed Marinol (Synthetic THC), works great, but I use it mainly to help me sleep.

That's exactly what I have, but why my old Neuro would use that terminology is beyond my comprehension. I'm going to be getting my dathe pierced soon, I've heard so many great reviews on it helping with headaches, even getting rid of them permanently. My new Neuro was wanting to do 31 shots of Botox, but my Medicare doesn't cover it. It's a little steep for my price range. I've become do desperate for relief, but refuse to take pain pills. Hate the way they make me feel.

I'd say your neuro is a bit of a thoughtless twat who has little or no comprehension that saying it in that way is absolutely f'ing terrifying .....

But then I'm a bit like that to. 

Sumatriptan is a readily available prescription medication and over the counter here in the UK and my father in law uses both the tablet form and the nasal spray when he feels one coming and they work in about 20-30 minutes xx

I watched a programme and that is what they were called on there. Not sure if it's available for you to watch on You Tube as you are in the US. It was called Doctor in The House, not sure which episode. Can't remember how he fixed it but he definitely helped, the poor woman had been getting up to 10 of them a day and was literally tearing at floor in pain, she was loads better after his help x

I am new to this site as of today and I also suffer from awful headaches.  I started Botox in March and so far the migraines have been better.  Even with my insurance the cost is outrageous.   

I look forward to this group and chatting with more people going the same issues I am

Hi I was wondering if anyone has ever had their headaches labeled as "Suicide Headaches"? My old Neuro used that with me, as my headaches are God awful.
